"Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues." God is calling us out of something, but what is He calling us in to? This video is a bible study about reformation starting from the Dark Ages and onward. Are we still coming out of something today, where are we heading, which path leads to truth? God does not leave us in darkness over the matter, the bible is a light to show us the right path.

  • I just got that book from someone and wanted to know more about it. I know its from E. White. An Sda memeber. Are you a member? Any advice about it.

  • Indeed, I am a SDA. I've read that book a few times. For me, it was well worth the read. The first half talks about the reformation, the second half talks about biblical truth on the state of the world now and future events soon to unfold. The truths stated always point to Christ. It is a book which every Christian should read, because it directs us to study the Bible, to look for Christ in His word, and to understand why we are protestants.

  • Most importantly it shows us our need to have a closer walk with God. The words written in the book, although written over 100 years ago, are more relevant for us today, because what was written is what we are living through right now. The signs of the second coming. I believe as do many other people, that E.G.White was a prophet, a type of Elijah to bring people back to God, a people ready for the second coming. God always raises up a prophet before any major biblical event.

  • Ariy352, May God bless you, and I pray that everyone who reads "The Great Controversy" will do so with a humble teachable heart, and I pray that it will lead all to a closer study of the Bible.
