from what i done the last two times, i got the claws first, fought the enemies inside, went outside and killed them too, then the shrine will be lighted... unless of course, the first playthrough they're not available but i think that is the cause

but i did that and the shrine didnt lite up

You have to kill all the enemies around it, don't go anywhere else, just stay and kill them all, shrine gets lit, grab the rod and look for the trials near the save points in the next nine chapters

how do u get the rod? i no its in a shrine i just dont no how to light it

to activate the TOVs you need the rod of trials found in CH 2, from ch 3-ch 12 there are those rock patterns, however, if there are enemies in the area, you are to eliminate them first, the rock patterns will then give off an aura and you take the Trial, you will be transported to an arena where you are to kill a number of enemies, if you dont have the rod of trials, you CANNOT access them

idont get how to do the tests of valor can u help me? arent they dos rock patterns in the ground? wat do u do to them?

they're always near save spots, ch 6 has one when you reach the front doors of the castle, located in the right side of the waterway, however, you need to get the rod of trials in ch 2 in order to access the TOVs
