@Subject790 No i feel you there man, all im trying to say is very little people are open minded when it comes to a certain style of music, they stick to what they find most apealing. not only in the types of music but also that fashion that follows with, and alot of people feel as if they have to defend themself about what they listen to instead of just having an open debate. @Subject790 I personally like Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Death, Nile, Bolt Thrower, Entombed, Obituary, Cryptopsy, Dismember etc. That's just my opinion though. As long as it's true death metal I don't really care; death metal has a kind of purity that I just don't find in other types of music. No one slugs it out in spite of being hated by the masses like death metal bands. Touring in a van, making no money and still loving every minute of it. That's what metal is all about to me.

I agree, i appreciate all metal, i honestly cant listen to rap/hiphop, again a matter of opinion, but i think alot of people are afraid to open themselves up to different types of Metal, i feel you on the labeling part, but i mean its kind of necessary if you truly look at it, it just gets stupid when people are this type of metal sucks, and this kind of metal is the best, and your older so you wont like this type! Just curious in your opinion whats good death metal? =)

@Tiriumx I agree, metal is metal, but that doesn't make it good. I'm not saying these bands aren't good, because that's a matter of opinion but the fact remains that none of these bands are death metal bands and since the title says "Top Ten Death Metal Vocalists" I was a little confused. Labels aren't stupid, what's stupid is the fact that they're even neccessary. Far too many mallcore kids (not saying you're a mallcore kid) in this world don't understand what metal even is.

Hell in my opinion as long as you can head bang to it its metal, regardless of Deathcore/deathmetal/grindcore­...the labels are stupid, ITS METAL! =P
