Minecraft SMP Automatic Minecart Station

This is a video about the train station I made for the Minecraft server I ran. The video was filmed in single player mode for a more pleasant visual; however, it works exactly the same in multiplayer mode. The station greatly expedites travel between our distant bases and is an awesome building to have on any SMP server. One of the main aspects of the station's design was for it to be very user friendly and heavily idiot-proofed... lol (hence all the glass everywhere)

Features:
Destination Selection Board (with automatic reset)
5 Cart Holding Area
Cart Rejection System (if system is full cart will come out)
Cart Availability Indicator Light (shows if there is 1 or more carts stored)
Anti-clogging cart caller (won't call another cart if first one hasn't left)

I didn't show all the wiring in the station (there's a bunch below the cart holding area) and if enough people want I could make a tutorial video explaining how to do the wiring and the track layout for the whole thing!

Everything was made using no cheats and I came up with all the designs myself, except for the booster cart which is a modified version of AlmtyBob's booster design.

I'll get started on that now, I made a thread (I will link in description) that details pretty well on how to make the new and improved button selection system I just came up with. It has no spaces in between the buttons and isn't much harder to make!

well i made a tutorial for the track switching section, and im going to postpone the button switching tutorial until the patch comes out because it will become even simpler with the addition of the timing block (i think).

Good system dude but lordgeorgemaster'sminecart system is much more complex and easier to use. it hold up to 25carts at any given time and carts can be sent and recived at any destination on his map. he will be adding videos of his big project and his minecart system very soon :) take a look

@kargaroc386 I agree, it sure makes it a lot too hard, but I can also understand why they did it. To make it more realistic. What i think should be done is removing them and have them make a new engine for minecarts, similar to non-diesel-trains in real life. For example adding powerpoles along the track, but they need to be powered from more than just a simple redstone torch.

It seems that I just don't like the powered rails very much. Very little momentum, and crafting requires precious gold, which is hard enough to find as it is, makes it nigh impossible to make something as grand as this without mcedit or another hacking utility
