http://mindmovies.com/?11001 Mind Movies are great and fun to make. They are the best visualization technique that I have ever tried. This is my revised Mind Movie. Some things became a reality since the making of my last one, so I wanted to change and modify it to express my current desires. So if you want the best visualization technique, make your own Mind Movie and "watch" it work for you!

  • You are talking about 1 woman. Maybe she is happy & good for her. I would not be happy because God has given us a mind & the ability to create something more for us & for those around us. I would not be happy being unable to make a difference in others lives by blessing them with what I have been blessed with. I know lack, & it's no fun! It's much better to have more than enough! God made us in His image to create abundance & demonstrate His greatness through trust in Him.

  • Good for the lady from Germany. However, it is SELFISH think it's okay to have only enough for ourselves. God's Kingdom is bigger than YOU, ME or HER. I think it's a shame to be so self-centered. I have always used my home as a place to give hospitality to those in need. The bigger the better! I always have others in view. It is no virtue to go homeless my friend. It helps NO ONE, but gives a self-serving sense of humility which is a cloak for the worse kind of pride.

  • If "things" will not bring happiness then why did God promise Israel a land flowing with milk and honey. A land rich in iron, gold, copper and such. Why is abundance & health part of the blessings Abraham received. It is foolish to believe that things don't mean anything. It takes money to be effective in the earth realm. It's a shame that so many Christians have a poverty mentality! Ask a homeless person if a house would make he or she happier!

  • @BAMFUproductions The problem is what is our real desire? In some parts of the world the greatest desire is to have your teeth filled into points. Everything we desire comes from a social context. We do not create our own reality as we are dropped into a reality that already exists. You assume that working on rubbish tips isnt good. You assume that going after our real desires improves the lives of others. Both the result of social conditioning.

  • @MichaelPuskas Effective at what? I agree that it's foolish to believe that things don't mean anything bit it's also foolish to believe that we don't give them their meaning. You have linked being homeless to being unhappy. Why? Heidemarie Schwermer is homeless and very contented. Ask anyone if they would be happier with no money worries and they will most probably say yes, but research doesn't bear this out.

  • There is a lady from germany who is intentionally homeless and she says that she feels much happier not having the burden of things. I have hot running water, I have food, I have my health and a curious mind and two beautiful children. It's helpful to recognize that I already have abundance. That's not a poverty mentality. It's healthy to recognize why you want more. Is it to raise your self esteem? To feel successful? Is it filling in for a deeper need. Covering a feeling of inadaquecy.

I agree with you that money isn't everything, but we are in a sensory world for a reason. If somebody only cares about money, they will never be happy. The Buddha taught moderation, though, because working on rubbish tips isn't good either. Everyone has something they aspire towards; something their higher self wants them to have. When we go after our real desires, we improve the lives of others as well as our own. Since everything comes from our dreams, we have infinite abundance.

  • We look for happiness in things. We think that if we have a bigger house we will be happier, we think that if we have more money we will be happier but it doesnt work. So why spend all that energy visualizing a bigger house when it wont make you happier?

  • @MichaelPuskas why do you think that havng more than you need will lead to less suffering. The things you have bring a momentary happiness, but then you have responsibility for all this stuff. It might get stolen, you might lose it, you might not be able to keep up the payments or there is a fire and its all gone. More insurance/?

    Now you are suffering.
