tsunami hits santa cruz harbor breaking boats loose 2/27/10

Tsunami wave hits santa cruz harbor, knocking a couple of boats loose. The boat and hoist were saved by the harbor patrol and the u-dock crew. Bad time to be on crutches.

@ramathorn2112 I Broke my ankle 2 days before it hit and was on crutches. That's why I couldn't jump for it. I was crawling forward to jump off the bow. And oh yeah, see how steady you are when a tsunami is barreling down on you. I just happened to have the camera right there when I heard the first surge coming. It's not like I planned on filming a tsunami while on my boat. Dumb ass.

I am supprised more people didnt take thier boats to sea where they are safe from this this sort of thing. Up here in Washington all the fishing boats went out to sea early in the morning just in case.
