#1 toss the crappy plastic gears and go with metal. the plastic strips out too easy (good thing I found a place to get replacement gears, but the repair is not for the weak of heart)

#2 quit trying to sell the plastic waste receptacles ... Make something thats easy to remove dump and replace.

#3 get some real cats to test your products.. 1 cat 1 week? Thats a load of BS 4 cats fill the container in one day so figure you need to clean the waste receptacle at least every other da

forgot to mention, the way i got mine so cheap, it wasnt a buy it now, it was a regular auction. k9felineXXXXX (cant remember the rest) is the user name of some1 that sells them regularly on ebay starting at 9.99 on auction.

for anybody considering purchasing one though... for the record, amazon sells the elite mega 9250 for $149.99 (idk if shipping is free or more yet) at the cheapest. the 9250 comes with the cover, the 9000 doesnt. the mega is for multiple or large cats, there are smaller cheaper ones for 1 or 2 cats. i got the same one that sells for 149.99 on amazon for $83 shipped. its a steal at that price, and a much better value than 200. i wouldnt pay 200 for it cuz it will get dirty quick, but im happy

i can understand where you all are coming up with the negative comments, but there are several people who actually love it and have tricks to keep it from clumping... such as pressure washing the original covering film off and coating it with pam and washing it again to keep it from clumping. i got one on ebay for 83 shipped (61 & 21.99), another auction for the same 1 came to 98 shipped last night at the same time. they can work gr8, but its not something u can just buy and only clean monthly.

I almost bought this piece of junk today.....so glad I researched it first before I spent $200 on it. I have yet to locate ONE person that is happy with it. Sounds like a good idea, but Littermaid appears to have dropped the ball when it came to actually making a decent product. Typical scam to get your money while you take home a shit product.

Great idea, shit product. Sounds and appears irresistible, but will cause you nothing but headaches and constant maintenance.

Also, 10 minutes?! That is wayyyyyyyy too long, do you not know -Littermaid- how smelly that will get in 10 minutes?! That's freaking stupid. A CatGenie will start cleaning 1 minute after the cat leaves the litter box. DON'T BUY THIS CRAPPY MACHINE!

It's crap! Don't buy it! Buy a CatGenie, or toilet train your cat.
