I returned from a week long visit to Pwoje Espwa, and it should be a model for all of Haiti. Fr. Marc has done an excellent job here. Yes, this video is 4 years old, but the attitude and hope reflected here is still evident. I can't wait to go back for another week and help out where I can. In the aftermath of the earthquake, cholera and hurricane, the work here continues to grow, and our help is needed. Fr. Marc has the right idea.

Hope to Haiti, hope palestine, hope to Darfour,, hope to Rwanda during these commemoration weeks.

As long that God on the throne, Haiti will survive

Then I am sorry for my comment, seen so many organisations in haiti that use the projects in a way to receive money. Happy to hear that...thanks for your reply.

my family has known fr. marc for years and he is a man of his word. what he does for the kids is true, it's real, and sincere. it's sad that there have been organizations that have taken personal advantage of help that others have given them, but that's not fr. marc, not theo's work.

I have so much respect for what Fr.Marc is doing. If only all the people in Haiti had someone to care about them and help them to farm and have a trade. If all this earthquake aid would establish more safe places to live and flourish for all those in need - it would be a blessing in disguise.
I am so upset about how late the aid is in coming and think the aid should go to the religious groups that have been helping in Haiti for many years. They know what is needed.

Peace to you Love to you

I realize your comment is from a year ago but I TOTALLY agree. Those exact words just came out of my mouth a few days ago. Prayer will only make you feel better but it does nothing for anyone else. If you care, go and physically do something.

This is a wonderful thing. I wish I could be apart of something like this. There doesnt seem to be very many girls. Is there a reason for that?

I believe there are actually fewer girls living as orphans in Haiti. Also, Theos Work began as a boys orphanage so it's slowly expanding facilities so girls can stay as well. You can imagine that requires separate living quarters at most ages. I do know there are plenty of girls at the schools, so they don't discriminate by any means.
