Soul Scars, and the silent few who bear them

I try to compare what it can cost a person doing something on a smaller scale to what it costs people on a larger scale in the torturous hands of the Cult of Scientology.

People will never be able to really understand what they had to go through while they were there, so when people go around reducing their stories to simple "he said she said" I find it very insulting to the strength that it must have taken to survive and escape the iron clutches of the C0$ for the victims that now speak out against their past oppressors.

I also remind people who are going out for the April 11th protest to be properly prepared. Take care of yourselves guys!

I don't plan on it. I've done enough talking with people who just wave off the piles of testimony and court documents like it was nothing. This is one of the things that actually makes me mad.

These people go through so much and then find the strength to leave, and it drains them to the point of silence. Then when they have the courage to speak about what happened to them so others know what happened, some people have the nerve to go around telling people we shouldn't even hear thm out!

Whoa.. GetTheCans is one pissed off Canadian. One of the things that truly pisses me off is how much the outside world is demonized. To the dedicated Scientologist the outside world is full of drugs, sex and other immorality. It's always been my contention that the world can be scary but its never as scary as some say it is. The world is actually quite nice so.... let's just enjoy ourselves while we're here.

You've obviously had a bad few days at the office GTC, that's quite clear! However you make some good points.

Scientologists tell people to learn about their cult before making comments about it. I recommend exactly that. The more you learn about Scientology, the more you learn just how offensive and truly unethical its is, and why it should at the very least be banned.
