Dr.Lydon, nice operation, do'nt you think that adding 5 mm port will make surgery safer? easier for you?
i am sure that this surgery caused a lot of straining on your muscles and eyes,spillage of bile into the abdomen is another concern. what is the benefit of single 2 cm size access?

I can do this surgery with the aid of a scrub nurse and don't need another surgeon.

Adding another port doesn't make the surgery any safer if proper technique is used. These single incision procedures have all taken less than an hour to perform and the patient satisfaction is quite high. Bile spill is minimal and easily removed with a suction/irrigator.
