final lap twin - pc engine (1989)

this is probably the best racing game for the pc engine and I wished namco made a sequel or more racing games for NEC's machine considering they were one of the best 3rd party supporters.

This reminds me of games like SMK and Sonic Drift. I guess all racing games back then pretty much had to be similar-looking back then due to visual limitations in those days...

Also, why is it that in effectively every hybrid game in existence, the RPG side is rarely, if ever, the dominant genre?

I've never had such a feeling of focus and tension when playing an modern racing game. This game kicks ass!
