Professional wrestling is filled with numerous legendary personalities but arguably no two are more infamous than "Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Highspots.com is thrilled to announce the Ric & Roddy Roundtable as we sat both men down for a no holds barred discussion about the state of the wrestling industry. This goes beyond a shoot interview as you get two unique perspectives on the entire pro wrestling landscape in 2009 from two of its all time most charismatic stars. The comraderie between these two lifelong friends is the true star of this DVD as they give their honest thoughts on a variety of topics. We specifically asked for brand new, never before told or published stories and both men delivered making this perhaps the most informative shoot interview of 2009 so far!

  • @Michael272727 : He was big, but certainly not the biggest star in wrestling... to do that, you had to dumb down the audience. That's what Vince did. Hogan was certainly the centerpiece of McMahon's promotion, but he could have plugged someone else in that spot if he had to. Hogan would have never gotten as big as he did without Vince.

  • @DeepSouthWrestling1 Not true. Hogan was already huge before McMahon hired him. Hogan was fresh from the movie Rocky III and hugely popular. McMahon needed a star with mainstream appeal. He used Hogan to launch his organization the way it is now.

  • Ric Flair never gets old....I wish was 30 years younger....the man was phenomenal.

  • @joeybrabham and to make you happy yes every wrestler routine get old but what made austin good was he could actually be funny and tell a joke that made the audience freak even now what is still going on and its almost been 10 years since it was born during the invasion promos,HOgan was just the good guy that all the little maniacs would cheer for because he was fight for your rights brother do the right thing which all kids love, hogan was forced down our throats and why tna today is drowning !!

  • @joeybrabham thats only because he was in a movie that was exposed to the world is why he gained his popularity, rocky 3 was great and this is why i watched hogan because he made rocky look like a small nugget

  • @hawkinn39 The advantage of the territories: among other things: it was not all Don Vinnyland in wrestling.

  • LOL @ Ric talking about Bret being in a bad place. Ric is a disgrace and his life is in shambles

  • @DeepSouthWrestling1 ... more popular than Hogan and outsold his merch. He drew much bigger numbers in PPV buys than Hogan ever could hope to. Granted, timing has alot to do with that but, as you say, "numbers don't lie".

  • @DeepSouthWrestling1 ... their throats. So, in a sense, you are correct... Hogan was/is huge. But, let's face it, his work sucked. His promos were boring and predictable, his in-ring performance was embarrassing and, as history has shown us, he had an ego that was out of control and only interested in money. Hogan was the tool McMahon used to totally turn wrestling into the dog shit it has been for over 20 years now. However, you are totally wrong about Austin... for a brief period he was...
