Starting up my ThermoJet (MotorJet) project for the first time in several months.

This is the first firing on the new aerosol can combustion chamber and exhaust nozzle. Propane was used for fuel. After a few seconds, the paint on the can began to burn off (hence the smoke)

  • Correct, it was a Stoner "Invisible Glass" spray can.

  • Does it produce any thrust?

  • Not really much yet but it does produce lots of noise, heat, and a good blast of very hot air
