@1MtnBoy Oh, and BTW, may I take this opportunity to extend to you a very sincere and heartfelt invitation to go and fuck yourself? ... See ya' in the funny papers Sprinkles!
-
@1MtnBoy Thank you! Because your endorsement never was either!!! LOL
-
@WizardOfChicamunga nice try Cupcake but your only a few years older than I am. I've been married for 20 years, it'll take far more than your insult to spoil my mood.
I am certain history records differently. Anyone who doubts that need merely have the capacity to read in order to find out for themselves if what I stated was factual, You on the contrary made an insulting comparison to express your subjective opinion. and BTW your personal endorsement was never relevant.
-
@1MtnBoy So that which I DO know better, I spoke of sonny boy. And I hate to piss in your Cheerios but it IS an opinion no matter what you say.
-
@WizardOfChicamunga Good. because it is not an opinion, these are the facts. You cannot debate them but I will gladly correct anyone promoting their opinion as such. "If" you worked for JPL ( as did my Father & Grandfather both) you should know better.
-
@1MtnBoy I shall in no way attempt nor even care to attempt to separate you from your opinion, but nor shall you me from mine. I am not a novice myself, in 1968 I did a large amount of work for JPL of Pasadena for the equipment that we are told made a trip to the moon the following year And as far as I am concerned, if you want further debate on the subject you'll have to go elsewhere, since I have no interest anyway in garnering support for my opinion as I am perfectly satisfied as is.

@carlitos465 Because they can't accept their own failure and so they can't accept others' victories

@WizardOfChicamunga Not at all, It's risk vs procedures. You must remember their statements in context, Mercury & Gemini both used pure Oxygen environments with no incidents whatsoever during either program despite engineers concerns even back in 1959. A Nitrogen mixed environment can suffocate the crew if it malfunctions and is horribly complex. Also ironically it was Gus himself that helped campaign for an inward opening hatch after his Liberty bell 7 near drowning.
