This adorable kid was selling stuff and I had to record him. He seemed quite poor. I kept meeting beautiful people like this boy.

  • Thank-you for the clarification. The kid may have been playing me, but he was still adorable! (I think I'll reword the intro because it isn't exactly what I meant -- Thx for pointing it out.)

  • Hi

I'm the boy who was selling stuff in the street few years ago .I just want to say thank you for putting my video on youtube.

  • I'm the boy selling stuff in the street 4 years ago,I'm really pleased you put my video on youtube.thanks for putting my video on the youtube and letting everyone see it.Now I'm in England doing 6 months english course. I hope you find this interesting

  • Of course it's a scam! Many adults only earn US$3 a day so they send their kids out to ask for coins for their 'collection'. The kid actually admits that he changes the money for dong. It's easy for young kids to get money this way- the problem is later on when they are older and less adorable.. then they become disheartened, arrogant and annoying. It is a problem in Vn- it's hard for tourists not to be charmed by these kids.. but giving them money probably hurts more than it helps.

  • Actually i dont think he was playing you because Vietnam is pretty poor. I went there last summer and I learned that these kids try to sell lottery tickets, even drugs or stuff because their parents make them because their families are poor.

  • He speaks English well...Surprisingly. Do they learn it at school that young?

  • the standard of living in vietnam is quite high, no need to patronize. This kid was trying to rip you off, he knew where you were from and conveniently didn't have any of your currency in his adorable collection... but he takes anything right, cos he can change your money...
