Well, I've managed to take the bodywork off (ha-ha). I'm just rambling away about motors and batteries here. It may be useful if you are thinking of converting a standard rc bike to a brushless. At least this way you get to see what you need to do!

Got it off ebay, can'r remember the company I got it from. I use Li Po's now, much more powerful!

They go very fast and get very hot! It's the wire supplied by the manufacturer!

kv is revolutions per volt in the case of brushless motors.

The motor shown will do 5800 revs on 1 volt. Or 41760rpm on 7.2 volts.

kv means rpm per volt dude so if it is 5000kv on 10v it would be 50,000 rpm dude

Ever heard of LiPo batteries im pretty sure they are the best kind of battery to run with a brushless.

5800 kv means 5800 rpm per volt so if you run a 3s1p lithium pack that motor will do 62000 rpm ! so good luck i use 3s on my mamba (8900kv) and its silly
