Sleigh Ride arranged and played by Mark Andersen on Theater Organ

Theater Organist Mark Andersen takes us on a Holiday Sleigh Ride with his own arrangement of the Leroy Anderson favorite. The organ is the former Brooklyn Fox 4 manual Mighty WurliTzer theater pipe organ, now completely rebuilt with many additions, and situated in the grand room of WurliTzer Manor (www.wurlitzermanor.com). Located in Gig Harbor, WA WurliTzer Manor is now the beautiful home of Barbara G. Hammerman and Raymond Lavine. This is just one selection from a new DVD available from www.intartists.com.

Great listening -- I just love Christmas music on the organ! Love the black console too! This is the first time I ever saw or heard glass (crystal?) orchestra bells! They sound and look fantastic! Was that a Wurlitzer special order option?

To think that organ was only 20 miles from here; moved before I was born most likely :( I would love to play it; at least someone saved it though even if its thousands of miles away now GREAT SOUND!!!
