i could understand people saying you over played if this was the original record your playing along, as its live i thinks an excellent rendition of one of the greatest drummers of all time.
I enjoy this video and love the work on the roto toms you nailed it! 10/10

Fantastic stuff. Overplayed? Silly monkeys! Stewart always "overplayed" during live stuff. Stewart was not into precisely reproducing the record in live shows. They wanted to do something else and to entertain. This is the live version, which WAS faster and louder and more nuts. To me, it sounds like the song speeds up a bit around the 29 second mark. But that is probably because the gig was wild and everyone was pumped. Good job, brother.

If you would just think of this as the live version, which it is, then the tricks and chops and licks are so Stewart Copeland and this guy nails that reggae feel ten fold over anyone i have seen on YOUTUBE...so anyone criticizing this performance needs their head examined..this guy is brilliant and the overplay people complain about is what playing live is all about!!! Wake Up!!

overplaying just ruins good music.

Hey man, you're overplaying the song. Your timing is off. Your're playing the song to fast by the way.

I am sorry but you overplayed the crap out of this song, and your meter is oll over the place, You seem like you could be a great drummer just ditch all the toys and play a basic kit you will rock 10x more ! And remember keep it simple!

Normally I'd say to each his own but Overplayed? I respectfully disagree! Are you referring to the hihat and rototom fills? If so than take another listen to this version off the LIVE album(disc 1). While I may not have played it note for note, fill for fill, Stewart "overplayed" it just as much. ;)
As for the meter- you got me there. I was certainly off a few times, but hey I never claimed to be a machine! I'm a drummer! ;)
