I've never been in the military. I also, though, hold that oath sacred. To me that oath is to the American people and to god, not the government. The government has in my 38 yrs been nothing but liars and murderers who treat soldiers like they are hamburger which is why I never joined the military. I commend most soldiers for noble intentions, but I urge any of you serving to get out for your own good and to other young folks I say don't join, don't sign on that line. Fuck the government.
