Let's now move to our continuing series on counties and we focus on Kakamega county that is second to Nairobi in population size. Alex Chamwada traversed the county and filed the following report on the county's economy and politics.

  • @suensmith You say that as though you've been actively involved in cleaning any town. Typical of Kenyans, moreso those who are abroad. all talk, no action.

  • All that trash in the town.....Lord have mercy!!!!. Can't someone give me the contract of cleaning this town?. What is the Mayor doing?. There are no trash trucks in Kakamega and dumping grounds within the Municipality?. This is a shame!!!. Where are the Wetangulas, the Mudavadis, the Muchelules, the Okubasus etc etc to make sure their town looks presentable?. Which town do they drive through to go to their homes?.

  • luhyias are destined to become the largest tribe in kenya within the next five years.

  • I like this report. Its rare for the media houses to venture outside of Nairobi unless there is some kind of disaster, rustling, clashes , tanker blast or the like. Thanks Citizen and thanks DEVOLUTION
