30 years ago he was Army and she was Navy and they met on an Air Force base. They danced to Barry Manilow's "Ships that Pass in the Night," and a few weeks later they were married. Instead of passing, theirs has been a long marriage, blessed with two children and two grandchildren. They serve Florida Baptist Witness newspaper in Jacksonville, Florida as managing editor and business manager. They both are graduates of Hannibal LaGrange College in Mo., and he is a graduate of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City and she is a graduate of Park University in Parkville, Mo. They have lived in several states and in West Germany. He is an retired Army veteran of 12 years active and a total of 23 active and reserves.
Awesome! Very moving. I did the same thing for my mom and dad celebrating their 50th. I played it at a banquet in their honor. This song is a real tear jerker. I'm sure you cried when making it. Great job.
