Martin Blanes - O'Carolan's Jig for O'Connor

Irish music for an Irish guitar. This is my first test recording with my new amazing 'Emerald Guitars' X7 Forum Edition travel guitar. It was specially designed for macnichol.com carbon fiber guitar forum. The tune was composed by musical national hero of Ireland Turlough O'Carolan and arranged by Soïg Siberil in DADGAD tuning.

Completely made of Carbon fiber in Ireland. It only weights over a kilo (2.5 lbs), is almost indestructible and plays (and sounds) like heaven!

Audio is not processed at all, mixing camera sound and pickup around 15% each and an external M-Audio condenser for the rest. please forgive the way youtube destroys audio quality.

Wow Martin, beautiful arrangement. I was expecting an Irish bossa nova and instead I heard a beautiful traditional arrangement. Well done, thank you, you are quite the musician.
