I think a translation would have worked better, they can sing and play great but the pronunciation is way off.

@Lamashtar Russian male choir music goes way down. When I was a grad student in Berkeley I went to a concert by a new SF offshoot of the Yale Russian Chorus, called Slavyanka. They were just forming up and called for auditioners. I like to sing, so I auditioned (and joined). At the audition, they asked another guy his range. He answered, "Third ↓↓↓↓BAASS↓↓↓↓!" (He was, too.)

Pretty damn good considering that 20 to 1 he doesn't know English and learned this phonetically off some available recording.
