I ran Sears Point (Infineon) Raceway on Sunday 8/22/04 with my 240SX, as part of the NASA HPDE event. First time on the track, I was able to get my time down to about 2'11" with pretty extensive track time. My car put out about 150RWHP or so, but the chassis is very balanced! Great track!!!

  • How does she steer with the 2 way?

  • not too bad, actually... but my car back then was vastly underpowered so it was hard to slide on 235 rear tires. I purposely set up the car this way...

  • What is your suspension setup and tire specs?

    Nice driving.

  • Suspension: cusco front t/c rod cusco rear upper arm kg/mm DNA coilover (custom ordered 8/7 spring rate) Tein inner, Kazama outer tie rods various suspension arms, braces, etc welded roll-cage Kaaz 2-way LSD 225/45-17 Bridgestone Potenza S-02 PP tires front on 17x8.5" 5Zigen FN-01R forged wheels 235/40-17 Bridgestone Potenza RE730 tires rear on 17x9" 5Zigen FN-01R forged wheels. Rotora front big brake kit Endless NA-D rear pads a few other things I probably missed...
  • I know what you mean, I'm actually going to Sears tomorrow with nasa.

I see you got a little oversteer at the hair pin, index steering will make that a lot safer. I'm just barely getting the hang of index steering, and I'm gonna see if I can do it tomorrow. I'm a shuffle steerer myself. I'll let you know how it goes.

  • The oversteering at the hairpin was more of me getting on the gas too much. It looked a lot worse than what it was originally...
