In 2009, we were the FIRST in Singapore to complete LIFE - The Great Challenge - 24000 pieces jig saw puzzle measuring 4.28m (L) x 1.57m (H).

At that time, it was World's Largest Puzzle.

Now in 2011, we bring you a completed Double Retrospect - the CURRENT World's Largest Puzzle - 32,256 pieces measuring a massive 5.44m (L) x 1.92m (H) after 86 assembling days !

In this Part 1 Video shows my son and daughter putting in the final 4 pieces. It is then followed by me showing all the 8 completed sections that were stacked up.

I would be going to layout all the 8 completed section next weekend (23rd April 2011) - and photo shoot & Video it for the Part 2 Video, but today I met with accident, and broke my toe and had 10 days medical leave & practically immobile.

Thus this Part 2 video of the 8 completed sections all laid out has to be delayed.

I will be also doing up my blog for the 32,256 pieces. Do keep a look out for it.

I am thinking about buying this too, but I want to make sure one thing!

They are separately packed in eight bags, right?

Does that mean they are divided by eight different sections?

So can be completed as eight 4000pc puzzles??

@jayleeusa : yes. It comes in 8 bags, labelled from A to H. Each bag = 4032 pieces (32 256 / 8 = 4032 ) .... do check out my other video in my play list, where I had it all LAID OUT and videoed....

Hi Fiboo551! I remember seeing your story on the Life: The Great Challenge website. Your daughter has grown so much. What an adorable family you have. Congrats on already having this new one finished. It looks much easier than the Life puzzle. Woudl you say it was easier or more difficult than Life? I am currently working on the Life puzzle myself.

@pennyweiss1974 : thanks for the compliments. The 32256 is actually quite ok, but its the WHITE borders, whites in between all the frames, as there are actually 4 VERY SIMILAR shaped pieces in each segment of 4 frames ... and it could fit in 4 different positions. This is very important because each segment has to join to next segment rightly.

Congratulations Andrew for having finished an almost impossible feat of assembling the world's largest puzzle.

Two questions: Which is more enjoyable to do? Life or Double Retrospect? Which is more difficult?

I hope another puzzle larger than this will come out soon.
