I love how Radiohead is possibly the only band who has a genuine interest in a good cause and really goes out of their way to support it such as producing a report on CO2 emission caused by their touring. Thom Yorke is so much cooler and sounds much more genuine than Bono who can't think of a more creative and substantive way than organizing a big concert.

like madonna (and probably others) who flew in to take part in live earth on a private plane - i suspect many celebrities are more concerned with raising their own profile than helping the environment. i think thom is one of the few who are genuinely sincere about this - he doesn't seek to promote his own celebrity but instead chooses to highlight the issue whilst trying to make changes to the way radiohead tour so as to minimise it's environmental impact - Good for him!
