You're right, the original is the greatest. Released September 2, 1965, Kim's version towers above any covers made in its wake. I was 11 when this came out that autumn and my first copy was in my collection before it was a month old. Pity it is that Motown never released an original album on Kim back in those days, and there was plenty of collected material to do it. Like her work with H-D-H her collaboration with Smokey, produced the still-memorable "Looking For The Right Guy." We remember Kim.

Almost any Music store should carry it .....Look for oldies or motown compilations ....If the store don't have it Shop somewhere else......As they are not worth going back to

Great version but no really the original as Eddie Holland recorder it one year prior although it wasn't released commercially until much much later

great motown classic.this should of hit bigger on the pop charts in 1965(#50pop).her highest charted hit "it takes two"(with marvin gaye) went #14pop in1967.still great tune by her.
