Bruce Gary once said he was playing in a nightclub in LA somewhere when he noticed Buddy Rich sitting at a nearby table. He said he was able to "maintain" and play the gig. Rich came over and introduced himself and ended up visiting Gary multiple times, giving him some lessons. Gary recounted that there would be times when they'd only have a snare drum between them. Bet THAT was a fascinating private lesson to have heard.

This band had a very bad destiny. Always dubbed the '"My Sharona' one hit wonder" even by some so-called "notable" magazines. Not really likely to give you a decent career boost when you get this sort of "rave reviews", is it.

Yep, just another great song on a ridiculously strong album. Most bands don't have greatest hits collections as good as this one album.
