Amazing. Where, oh where can i find text and melody.

my dialect is called nethersaxon, i live at the border of holland-germany. and the grammar is realy close to the anglosaxon grammar.
like in old english they qwould prabably have said: mine wife (pronounced as: meene weeve) to my wife.
and in twentsch we say: mien wief. (meen weef)
and there are a few things more which are almost the same :)

Cool (: I would like to study Anglosaxon one day, and add it to my "library" of language-knowledge :,D
Is your dialect close to original Anglosaxon? (:

This is amazing, not just musically, but also by language. I am Swedish myself and have a great interest in language, and maybe especially the anglo saxon and norse branches! When I listen to this, it seems like I can understand a great deal without translation! I feel both happy and proud that our traditions and languages are so closely related.
Btw. Ranarim is my favourite folk-band, they perform extremely well both on disc and live. I would love to go to the celtic connection Festival! <3

They're coming to college tomorrow night. Cool!
What language are they singing at? Is it Scottish people singing in Swedish or something like that?
It's a beautiful song however.

We're singing in Scots and Swedish. Malinky is from Scotland, Ranarim from Sweden. The song exists in both traditions, so we did a version in both languages. Hope that explains it! Thanks for the compliment :)

Where can I get a hold of the whole concert?

Hi Blissmo, I'm afraid we don't have the whole concert on video, just a few songs. If I get time I will post some others up soon. Thanks for your interest!
