really like the card and the ribbon trick, but i have a tip. Would it not save ribbon if you put the tape on the card and then pleat the ribbon on top of the tape?

Thanks for the tip. The reason that I put the tape on the back of the ribbon is so that the ribbon sticks to itself and creates the pleat. If you didn't do that, the ribbon that doesn't have any sticky on the back could become unattached. But, I will have to try it and see what happens!
