Please, please upgrade to a min. 200$ worth of a HD camera! I believe that the investment would make you a major Youtube player and one of the best aviation historians!

Airboyd...You always have the best footage of any jet driver's seat video than anyone on the tube... Thanks for it all, and keep it coming my friend~!!

I used to love this landing and lucky to have experienced it 10 to 20 times. I always remember the stink when landing though, was it the sea(?)

Pilot acts like he's done that once or twice.

He Landed.. Wow!!! Too Smooth.!

Kai Tak was closed simply because there was no room for expansion. It also required extra qualifications for pilots operating there. Beside, the path of the approach prevented high rise developments which were very desired in a dense city like HK. Safety had nothing to do with it, Kai Tak's record was better than Chep Lap Kok's, given 10 deadly accidents over 50 years and most were runway overshoots - ironically, nothing happened on the 13 approach path. business won over heritage..

That approach (in very murky conditions) and landing was BRILLIANT. Hardly a shudder when the main gear touched down. A real pro job. Thanks for the post
