@ktf2222 What a coincidence. My first car was a '66 Mustang! I was 17 1/2 when I traded my 289ci, automatic and $900 for a 1970 Chevelle SS with a 396 and a Muncie 4 speed. It had a Verti-gate shifter, roller rockers and a roller cam. What a blast had I had with that car. Sounds like our Dad's were kinda the same too. Mine was an accountant who had probably never been over 80 mph in his life. My advice to you these days, is to rent a car to do these types of things and baby that Mustang. Cheers
