Wow you Wal Mart defenders have no sense of humour what's so ever.

When you first start work at Walmart... the tell you that you will get medical benefits when you work there a year... every holiday... ect... And when you worked there a year... they lay you off and hire someone else who they tell that if they work there a year...

walmart is definitely messed up, i worked there for 4 months, during probation review they make up a bunch of reasons why you didnt get a perfect mark, i think i got like 70% even though i deserved 100% to be honest, even the shift supervisors make like 14$/hr so they told me, lead hands make 11-12$/hr, such a horrible place, i dont shop there anymore, go shop at a local store as long as its prices arent insane.

@wavace No I would ! that's what main street is for. you never needed to go out of your way to shop. Wal mart is a killer of small business. When a company comes around and devours all other company's so no one fiscally advances its called a monopoly. You don't know the scam they operate. I have seen it first hand, The WMCEO's are cut throat. No company has ever done this but Wal mart because others knew it was wrong/ borderline illegal.

@TheKnives777 because the cost of operations in the towns with nothing else around is much lower than in the middle of a major city. Think about it, with a Wal-Mart in the town right next to you would you goto a local shop for a large amount of purchases?

why do u heat walmart?

I don't understand why wal mart builds in rural towns with less the 10k populations, Thats like putting a blooming dales in outer space. the towns economy is based off the towns people, not a major corporation with untouchable ceo's. Then they eliminate the stores by including what the mom and pop stores sold by making them specific departments in walmart. Bakery, ammo and hunting, automotive, fabrics, and Rx were all individual stores at one time, walmart crushed them all and made billions.
ever heard of there is no other options unless u want to be jobless and then u have people who say the poor dont work

Most of the small businesses close when Wal-Mart comes to town. Where are they supposed to work?
@SuperLuigiGuy: The Wal-Mart in my town just cut ALL of its full time employees to part time, even the managers. That is practically forcing people to quit.
The problem with this is, my town is small and rural (less then 9k people) and all of the surviving stores (small businesses) are run by their owners and families, with no other employees.
There is no place else to work, except factories.
