  • @greenbeenie60 "You are probably from some small bitch country."- FPS Russia

  • weak

  • @greenbeenie60 It was a 2rd World Country but today its a 1rd World Country :D

  • Interesting, yesterday I watched "Weaponology - Spetznaz" and they said that the Russians had been studying the Vietnam conflict and seeing the advantages of the 5.56mm over the 7.62 (e.g. heavier bullet flew directly through the person but the smaller 5.56 would spin in the body tearing the organs) so they decided to switch to the 5.45. And now the Americans want to switch to bigger bullets, because they have more punch. I'm confused.

  • if only we had a small enough round that could fit through the individual weaves of kevlar.... oh wait

  • @rangliansoldier Nothing new, and for all you wrote it's completely irrelevant, the discussing was an m4(14,5") v ak at 400meters. but good on you for trying though

  • Does he speak like that the whole time ?

  • @Kinvariz123 For the L85A2 we say it has an effective individual range of 400m and a section range of 600m. All you need to do is supress the enemy at that range, then you can maneouver or use supporting arms. The infanteer doesnt need a sniper rifle to do his job in maneouver warfare.

  • @rangliansoldier

Yep, nothing new there, now give them 10" barrels and make them fire at moving targets, with camo, body armor and plates.

  • @Kinvariz123 Here in Britain our infantry have to hit targets at 400m to pass their annual markmanship tests, but that is with an L85 which has a longer barrel than an M16 but a shorter overall length than an M4 due to its bullpup features.
