"Good-Time Mix Machine: Scrambler Drawings" I connected a gas generator and air compressor to buckets of paint and secured them into the seats of a Scrambler amusement park ride. Once the ride was in motion, paint sprayed out of the benches onto vinyl tarps placed underneath. The result is a series of enormous hypocycloid designs which recorded the hidden patterns created by the ride as it turned. Two videos were created in conjuction with the drawings. This work was funded by Grand Arts, Kansas City, MO, with assistance from Tony Wight/ Bodybuilder and Sportsman Gallery, Chicago, IL; ADA Gallery, Richmond, VA; and Todd Simon.
The carnival has a ride just like this.

You can't spell FART with out ART.

People who waste time arguing over the definition of "art" are those who aren't smart enough to discuss anything of real substance.

Or neither may be correct, if they're using art as a synonym for beauty or some other word. Like someone in a spa laying back and calmly saying "ahh this is wonderful, I'm completely enraged" not understanding what rage actually is.

Yes. I see your point. Two may differ in what they define art but they are both correct.

I agree, art is contextual. A profound truth in one situation may be a tired cliche in another. Art is definable, though. If you say that something is art, you should be able to explain why, because saying that something is art is saying that it reveals truth for you, about your condition, or your world. Art has a logical definition, it's not a matter of a feeling, like beauty, though many people find it beautiful and enjoyable to experience art.

Dont tell me what art is. Art and beauty and style is in the eyes of the beholder.
