I made plan's to go to wood stock and I was all packed up and ready to go. A couple of day's later I got my draft notice. I heard bits and pieces about wood stock while I was in boot camp. By the time I got back from Vietnam, it seem like eveything changed. The beautiful people I knew had tuned into druggies and for awhile Height Ashbury was not a safe place to be, but I remember the good times.

America's manufactures fled the country because of the HIGH labor costs brought upon them by dishonest, corrupt unions whose leaders played footsies with politicans and at the same time padded their own bank accounts by defrauding and embezzling from the rank and file members. Open the newspapers, its still happening today. Lesson not learned.

You mean to say it was my generation that formed the International Corporations that drove out America's manufacturing base to be replaced by high unemployment, record welfare roles and diminished education? My generation certainly is responsible for ushering in a liberal politic that was dubious at best, but it absolutely wasn't us that sold our economic base down the river to places like China. Give it up. The Baby Boomers have destoyed this country. They who thought they had all of the answers in reality actually have none. If their parents' generation were the " Greatest Generation" the legacy of the Boomers will be one of " Me infused with countless drugs from cradle to grave." This country is now reaping what the Boomers sowed. Enjoy your retirement Boomers!

i saw mel at frome in uk we spoke for a while , and she told me she loved my motorbike wihc was outside , she really is a fasinating person and like a sister , she is and was so happy i have all her records and never thought i would meet her in person ,she really is an amazingly freindly person love her to bits xpx
