  • lol - We don't like Bush!

  • At least he tries to do something productive instead of just wanting to lower the taxes and get as much money for one self as possible. This economic crisis is much bigger than people think!

  • You missed, Mr. President.

  • @Capitalocracy As for blood and tears I served 4 years as a soldier in order to get training and certain benifits their of, while never wounded i've cut myself during work and certainly have cried at the death of friends in Iraq.

Bottom line is excuses are excuses. An American can better him/herself if they want to. If you're in a pathetic situation then it's likely your fault. My cousin is married to a woman who was paralized(Waist down) in early HS, she now has a degree and a great life.

  • @Capitalocracy Well lets take a look at my background then...

My mom and stepdad live in a trailor park on what both of them make. Before my step dad my mom had an abusive boy friend for 4-5 years that would littterally choke slam me, punch me, kick me, and all around beat the living shit out of me. (So there's the usual excuse 'my life sucks because i was abused excuse'). I couldn't go to college because i had slacked during HS and couldn't afford it. Yah, i had lots going for me.

  • @pcgamernum1 haha crybaby.. how many tears do you shed at work? how much do you bleed at work?

OK, and to actually be serious: look at your situation with a detached perspective and ask yourself, what advantages do you have and what opportunities do you have that others do not have access to? Did you really pull yourself up by the bootstraps? Might everyone not have bootstraps with which to pull themselves up? Think about it, I honestly ask you to think about it.
