This video is part of the 'Trash Bags to Hand Bags (TB2HB)' video series. Doane College Professor Brad Elder runs through how to make mosquito netting using the plastic bag base material used in the first 'Trash Bags to Hand Bags' video. Find out how to make the tools used with the video 'TB2HB Tools'.
Professor, Have you tried embedding these nails in a rollingpin? No machine needed. Cool use of material.

Just returned from Africa. The response was outstanding! We were successful at making the nets as well as many other products. Well get a Youtube video up here as soon as we can. Brad

We will soon have a web page up on making this netting with a modified sewing machine and needle. The sewing machine method uses substantially less energy when done on a treadle sewing machine. Other products we are making included soft and hard irrigation pipe, drip irrigation bags, solar showers, and shoes. Brad
