Film critic Chris Stuckmann reviews Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, starring Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, Thomas Horn, Max von Sydow, Viola Davis, John Goodman and Jeffrey Wright. Directed by Stephen Daldry.
I loved this movie. Mostly because i enjoyed the story of grief and dealing with it through the eyes of a kid with all his hang-ups. And Thomas Horn was brilliant in my opinion as he carried the movie for me.
Forrest Gump without question! :)

I know it's overtly common, but "Forrest Gump" is Tom Hanks' best performance and my favorite Tom Hanks film.

@ThisguyQuake - "The Reader" is actually (in my opinion) one of the best films of 2008, and that was a great year in film.

2 Questions:
1. Are pretty much most American movie premieres held in Los Angeles (or both there and NY)? For example, The Dark Knight Rises possibly?
and
2. What other lesser known Tom Hanks films are good besides Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump, The Green Mile, and Philadelphia?
