EMGs were designed for ultra quiet and clear studio playing...not metal. Metal players discovered the high output and clarity worked for them too. kayoskater is just another stupid fanboy who doesnt know shit about music or musicians

@kayoskater Zakk Wylde made the commission off of the guitar, I doubt he give a fuck what anyone plays on it after they buy it.

God that's great country pickin'. I love Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler and wish I could play like that. Only one way to learn. Practice, Practice, Practice! Your chops are Great! I notice you've a Marshall half stack! I had a JCM 900 like that from 1994 to 2003 but transporting it became a drag. I've a Marshall TSL 602 Combo now and it's loud as hell!

did you get your guitar online? if so, could you tell me the website? + i know this is going to sound wierd but what is the first letter on your serial number? I found you on mylespaul forums and as you might know fake guitars are a hot discussion topic, and usually the serial number gives it away. If you are understandably not willing to reveal such personal information could you help me with something else? I heard epiphone Zakks went strictly China, and NOT Korea do you know if this is true?

I bought the guitar online off Musician's Friend. The first part of the serial # is U0710. That means this guitar was made at the Unsung factory in Korea in October of 2007.
