Grew up in Concord --- In 1970s, my brother, a teen, joined the American Contingent of the 10th Regiment Afoot. He was a grenadier (had to be over 6' tall, in 18th C. and onward), and wore the tall bearskin hat. The Contingent then had well over 200 men and teens participating.. At the Bicentennial in 1975 (yes ... marking 200 yrs from 1775), he was one of four to guard the grave of the British soldiers, as President Ford spoke at the Old North Bridge, w/ tens of thousands in attendance,
