This is exactly why the 2nd amendment was created; so the people would be armed to protect themselves from their own government. I think it's going to take a lot of work; people need forget about the federal government and start rebuilding the state government. They need to get involved with their community governments and state governments...making sure to get liberty-minded people into office (hell, run for office themselves).
