@uniquesten in own an i30 1,4 and a ford focus 1,6, both manual gearbox. On i30 speeedometer=190km/h GPS=184km/h. On Focus speedometer= 190km/h GPS=189km/h. I guess Focus is more accurate and turns better but is slower than the i30. Focus is also more stable on high speeds and both are dead on low rpms because of the electronic throttle i guess... Generally both cars are very good...

I did 197 km/h by gps (over 200 by speedometer) on straight motorway in Germany. rpm 6500 fifth gear.

odometers are always wrong, gps and cartest2000 software tells the truth.

mine is then at about 6000rpm(5 gears) At normal topspeed it are about 5500rpm (185-190km/h)

@Mac5095 I own a i30, drove a kia too. Kia acts way better at road wholes than the i30. Better tyres.

@TheOxTube Owning one of these . Car's factory top speed written in the papers is 184 km/h On speedometer, not on GPS I topped out at 202-203 kph , -NOT- on a downhill. Great car.
