@TrevorDaniels Kathleen Battle is an incredibly gifted artist. full stop. other female singers are jealous of her physical and vocal beauty. full stop. her career at the Met ended for this reason. she IS my desert island female artist. full stop

Love Ms. Battle. Her recordings, while good, don't do her justice. Hearing her live is amazing. Her voice is crystal clear.
Despite what people say she is a pleasant person. I have met her on three occasions, and she was always nice. I just got tickets the performance she is having here in Los Angeles in two weeks. I am so excited.

Watch Philippe Jaroussky's version! I am a huuuuge fan of Kathleen's, but this is for a boy, and philippe jaroussky is the closest thing any adult voice could be to it. (beautiful by the way, thanks for posting!)
