  • The part where he says SING, LOUDER! Seems overdubbed... Cos he moves away from the mic but the vocals stay at the same level :-/ check it out

    1:32

  • damn dude, i hate to say this but you are right.

  • Ohh and by the way

    the vocals were over dubbed

he did not sound like that!

    not even close

he fucking murmured all the songs

  • thats so fucking sad to hear if this is true. I saw him in NY and i aint gonna lie, the vocals were low and murmured. The instruments were top notch tho.

  • @yodog678 hes not "lip-syncing" he stills sings at all the shows, its just that most of the time it doesnt sound very good, and they cant sell DVDs of concerts if the performance isnt any good, so on the DVDs they put a better version of the song over top of the live performance

  • @Parentsofftomexico nah, the audio sync is bad. if u watch 1:42, when the riff ends, Chris is still playing a chord. Megadeth doesnt overdub, you can ehar the difference between this and the studio version. OPEN YOUR EYES FOLKS! :)

  • i think we all understand by now that Dave is lip-syncing, but thats because he's blown out his voice, and i gaurantee he doesn't want to give his fans a bad performance on DVD. His voice may be terrible now, but hey, Megadeth still rips ass when it comes to playing their instruments.

  • @ColmIncendinall it's not that. i though it too but i went "investigating", the thing is to make the dvd they incresase dave's voiceand the other instruments sound so when he's a little bit far you stil can hear him. It sounds non-sense but it true. Great dvd.

  • @ColmIncendinall probably right, probably not, remember we are talking about megadeth, and also this dvd was studio edited,

  • @tiny117 well ya gotta understand dave aint what he used to be hes almost fifty i dont blame him if he cant sing like he used to

  • @roddyjo I agree with you, but the actual volume doesn't change. It stays perfect. He moves RIGHT away from the mic, but it sounds like he's dead centre in front of it. I absolutely HATE to say this cos I love Megadeth, but that part is dubbed for sure :(

  • @ColmIncendinall nah, he was still close enough for it to pick up what he said.

  • They probably just enhanced the vocal mix for the DVD. The reason why its the same volume when he moves, its that the levels are equalised.

If you notice, Mustaine always looks like he's mumbling when singing.

Either all that, or it's been overdubbed. ha ha. If they did that though, I'd have thought they'd have wanted to make it look more convincing.

  • Forget headcrusher. You guys are a bunch of dreamcrushers. I don't care whether or not it LOOKS like he's singing. Dave's amazing and oh, so is Chris.
