I don't know. Early 90s music was pretty good. Music was going downhill for the first part of this decade, but there is some really good stuff that has been coming out in the last 2 years. Detrola and Xmmer are great, but there is something I still like about the old stuff. Independent music still rules.
the title is probably referring to the Earth beckoning her children back to the land where they belong. although the earth is covered with a thick layer of water, it could be said that coming to land is coming to earth. I conjecture that the voice of the vocals in this song represents the collective willforce of Mother Earth, calling her wayward offspring home. thus, you are mistaken. I found the video extremely relevant and pertinent to the song.
