The ONLY proven solution for 5th wheel trailer towing with short bed trucks is the SuperGlide hitch - automatically sliding the trailer away from the cab while making short turns - without stopping, getting out of the truck, or having accidents by forgetting. It always works - protecting your truck, trailer, and passengers. Watch this video, and see how - moving up to 50% farther than manual slide hitches - AUTOMATICALLY!

  • I bout shit when he backed up.

  • @Tr2u1ck Ok.. I see what you mean. I tow a fifth and have a slider.. you can def tell the difference when you slide it back (weight off the front like you were saying). this unit's purpose appears to me to be for low speed aplications anyway, when you are just steering sharp.

  • @toolinmaine I don't know how much as opposed to sliding 5th wheels on semis (their 5th wheels have notches on the plate that locks it in place and is air operated. each notch/hole distributes 300-500 lbs) but same concept applies. 5th wheel towards the front puts more weight on the steers (front axle) and off the drive(s) - rear axle.., slide it to the rear and more weight is put onto the rear axle..

(if you don't have TT experience)

  • @Tr2u1ck what?? ther would be like another hundred pounds maybe.

  • uhhh... wouldn't there be a concern with too much weight on the rear axle?

    (good concept though)

  • Great video we use to show our customers.

  • informative and sellable! NICE! I will get one!

  • Seems like a great hitch but seems over priced?
