I never read dune but purchased the soundtrack after loving the Indy 4 trailer. I more or less have listened to it ever since! I love all the themes, especially inama nushif and main title!

@valeagathon A wonderful set of books. Enjoy them. I'm not a big SCI-FI guy, but I read all these books and Lord Of the Rings (have to read the Hobbit) over 30 years ago as a teenager. Still jave them all on my bookshelf and read them still today.

Does anyone know what instrument is playing at 6:32? Not the percussion, but the faint wind instrument? It sounds like an oboe, but it is very Eastern sounding. Almost like its from antiquity. It's a prevalent instrument used throughout the Children of Dune soundtrack. I love it, but can't tell what it is. Please let me know!

Apparently he uses the Armenian Flute frequently, maybe that's it. He also uses something called a Duduk.

the track that starts at 5 really gives the impression of a desert, but what im looking for..the soundtrack which starts in the series when letos going to jacurutu on a sandworm is missing here. can anyone tell me whats that song?
