  • This two lenses are years apart in terms of market introduction date being the Canon quite a bit older. It would be very interesting to see the Sigma up against the Canon 100-400mm IS or even the Canon 18-200mm IS wich is the latest IS version in any Canon lens to date. Thanks for the video.

  • Hi, very interesting video. However , you don't explain here what was the zoom range. Were the two lenses at the same zoom length ? Was the Sigma over the300mm point ? The longer the focal length the harder to stabilize it.

    Besides, the Canon IS version in the 70-300 is an older one (providing two stops or so) while the one in the Sigma is a much newer version of the OS (4 stops, or so they say).

  • It´s hard to tell what´s best!
