I have a question about the auto mode. is it always on? or can you turn it off as well? because with moving objects the auto mode creates this "pumping-effect", does'nt it? so is it possible to film without the auto focus mode? thanks for your help, i am about to buy one, but filming is very interesting for me, so i have to know this first. thank you!

Manual focusing is quite simple. Turning your lens's focus ring will override the autofocus or if you switch your lens from AF to MF you will be able to focus manually throughout the video.
